Dr. Ashleigh Milne qualified with a BSc (HONS) degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2010 and has further qualified in a Masters Degree (MSc) in Forensic Podiatry from NUI Galway and most recently gained a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from UCD. From gaining these extensive qualifications Ashleigh is entitled to and licensed to diagnose and treat all medical conditions from the pelvis (hip) area to the feet/toes as well as treating all medical conditions accordingly using the latest techniques and licensed prescription-only medicines. However, in addition Dr. Milne is insured and licensed to treat and diagnose many of these complex conditions on both hands and surrounding skin areas.
Dr. Ashleigh Milne has over 12 years post graduate experience in both the public and private sectors within Podiatric Medicine & Surgery. Ashleigh worked within the NHS (Greater Glasgow area) in Scotland for a few years after qualifying which enabled her to treat and observe a number of high risk/severe cases that required extensive Podiatric care. During the same period in which she was working for the NHS. Ashleigh also helped a number of private Podiatry clinics within the Greater Glasgow area during maternity and annual leave periods. This enabled Ashleigh to gain a wide spectrum of what is required within operating in both a public and private setting as both would have very specific requirements. In 2012 Dr. Ashleigh Milne moved to Clonmel in the Republic of Ireland to take over an established private Podiatry clinic due to the owners retirement. During the 6.5 year period Ashleigh successfully operated a her reputable private Podiatry clinic treating patients of all ages with an extensive range of problems and conditions. |

The Clonmel Podiatry clinic is still currently running at full capacity from an alternate location within Clonmel Town since July 2018.
In 2014 Ashleigh extended her Podiatric skills and expertise and opened another private Podiatry clinic within a multidisciplinary clinic within Carlow and has since moved the busy Carlow clinic to an alternate location within the centre of Carlow Town since August 2017. The equal level of care and treatment as the Clonmel Podiatry clinic is offered within the Carlow branch. No referral is necessary as all patients can attend either clinic at their own request.
